Sofia Vagiota (Patras 1982) graduated from the Department of Architecture of the University of Patras ιn 2005. In 2007, she obtained a Master of Science on Urban Design by the TU Delft and a Master of Arts on the History of Art by Leiden University, in the Netherlands.

In 2014, she was proclaimed Doctor ( Ph.D.) by the Department of Architecture of the University of Patras.The drafting of her research, was entitled “Criminality and Urban Planning”, and dealt with the investigation of planning criteria for place safety.

From 2008 onwards, she is working in the technical office ‘Daidalos Engineering’ in Patras, as an architectural design manager. From 2015 until 2017, she also worked, as an Evaluator for National Strategic Reference Framework (ESPA) Programs on Tourism, Manufacturing and services.
